dresses for hourglass figure

Just wanted to make you aware of an experience I had at your Novi, MI store today. I was excited to visit the store again and use my $20 reward. I've been a regular customer since the stores were called "hot mama."

As I walked around the store today selecting items to try on I was approached by a sales associate. She asked if I was familiar with the BlankNYC jeans I had in my hand. I stated that I was in fact familiar, and was wearing a pair of BlankNYC cutoff shorts I had purchased in the same store. She responded by saying, "oh, because you're obviously curvy and we'd recommend a different brand for your body type." Taken aback and confused I simply looked at her. She back peddled and stated that she meant that I have "an hourglass figure." dresses for hourglass figure

Am I heavier than I'd like to be? Yes. But, do I need to walk into a store that supposedly celebrates moms and (maybe this is taking a leap) the bodies they have because they gave birth to a child?

I was so disappointed in and hurt by my experience I left easily a $400 worth of merchandise that I wanted to purchase in the dressing room.

I didn't appreciate the body shaming and doubt I'll be visiting the store again.
